The app
PawCam plays an attract sound when you tap the shutter, captures a silent 10-frame burst, and ranks the shots on your device so you can keep the best one. You must be old enough to use the App Store or Google Play in your region.
Purchases
PawCam Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase on iPhone and Google Play Billing on Android as a monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the paywall before you buy.
- The lifetime option is a single payment that does not renew; it is not a subscription.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions may include a free trial (for example, 7 days) for eligible new subscribers. The subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel in time: on iPhone (App Store), at least 24 hours before the trial ends; on Android (Google Play), any time before the trial ends.
- On iPhone, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. App Store subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- On Android, payment is charged to your Google account through Google Play at confirmation. You can cancel any time before the current billing period ends, and the cancellation applies from the next period. Google Play may charge a renewal up to 48 hours before the new billing period begins.
- Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Restore Purchases and code redemption (App Store offer codes on iPhone, Google Play promo codes on Android) are available in the app’s Settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its media services terms, or by Google under Google Play’s refund policies.
Your content
Photos you capture and sounds you record are yours and stay on your device. You are responsible for having the right to record the sounds you use.
AI art
AI art turns a photo you choose into a generated image. To create it, the photo you choose is sent to our AI art server and to OpenAI, an AI image service; PawCam does not keep a copy on its servers (see the Privacy Policy). By tapping “Agree & Make AI art” the first time, you agree to this. Only upload photos you have the right to use. Generated images are provided for your personal use, may not exactly match your pet, and can vary between attempts. AI art uses credits: your first creation is free, and more credits are sold as in-app purchases (consumables). “Fast” uses 1 credit and “Best quality” uses 2. Credits do not expire, are not included in PawCam Pro or the lifetime purchase, and are not refundable except as required by Apple’s or Google Play’s policies or by law. A credit is only used when an image is successfully created. We may limit or pause AI art to prevent abuse or when capacity is exceeded.
Acceptable use
Do not use PawCam to photograph or record people without a lawful basis, to harass animals or people, or to reverse-engineer or abuse the service.
Pet safety
Attract sounds are everyday household noises played at normal volume. If a pet looks stressed or uncomfortable, stop. By design, the iPhone app can play sound even when the silent switch is on, and the Android app plays sound at media volume — check your surroundings before shooting.
Disclaimer
Best-shot ranking is automated and can miss or mis-rank animals. Attract sounds may not make a pet look. The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, JoCoding, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for PawCam Pro in the past 12 months. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Delaware law, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
